Notice is hereby given that the Gum Springs Water Supply Corp. will convene for a Regular Meeting at the Corporation office located at 714 Mt Pleasant Rd., Hallsville, TX at 12:00p.m. Any guest or members are welcome to attend this meeting. Items to be presented are as follows:
- Call to Order.
- Roll Call of Directors and establish a quorum.
- Welcome and recognize visitors and guests.
- Receive public comments and/or any written correspondence from Gum Springs WSC Members and take any necessary action regarding same.
- Consider Approval of June 30, 2022 Monthly Meeting Minutes.
- Consider Approval of the Financial report for June 2022.
- Review Water Loss Report for June 2022.
- Receive/Discuss and Take Any Necessary Action Regarding Hooper Land.
- Receive/Discuss and Take Any Necessary Action Regarding Test Well.
- Receive/Discuss and Take Any Necessary Action Regarding Progress Of New Pump Station #1.
- Receive/Discuss and Take Any Necessary Action Regarding Pump Station #3 Upgrades.
- Receive/Discuss Kyle Stephens update on Capital Improvements.
- General Managers Report
- Consider items of Old/New Business to be placed on August Agenda

The Board of Directors is authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act to convene in closed or executive session for certain purposes. These purposes include receiving legal advice from its attorney (Texas Government Code 551.071); discussing real property matters (551.072); discussing gifts and donations (551.073); discussing personnel matters (551.074); or discussing security personnel or devices (551.076). If the Board of Directors determines to go into executive sessions will be held and will identify the item to be discussed and provision of the Open Meetings Act that authorizes the closed or executive session.

NOTICE: Voluntary Changes to Irrigation Requested
Gum Springs WSC # 1 Well Side is under stage 1 voluntary drought restriction. This is due to the excessive use in water during severe drought conditions.
Water customers are requested to voluntarily limit the use of water for landscape irrigation.
Addresses ending in an even number (0,2,4,6 or 8) can water Mondays and Thursdays
Addresses ending in odd number (1,3,5,7or 9) can water Wednesdays and Fridays
Irrigate landscapes only between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on designated watering days.
Please no irrigation watering on the weekends.
We expect with the continued lack of rain in the forecast and the usual spike in usage over the weekends, the demand on our water system will be significant. If residential and commercial users will help by watering on the specified days and times, it will help prolong or possibly prevent the need to implement mandatory reductions.
Domestic water use for personal needs, for household or sanitary purposes such as drinking, bathing, cooking and sanitation do not need to be restricted. You should also continue to water outdoor animals and livestock as normal.
